Accessibility

Our approach

We regard accessible pages as ordinary maintenance work at focusedix rather than an additional feature. Every new page and every change to the design is checked to make sure the text remains readable, the navigation remains usable without a mouse and no information is carried by colour alone. The statement applies to focusedix.com only.

What we do

Pages use semantic HTML: headings follow one order, lists are marked up as lists, and link texts stay meaningful out of context. Navigation and main content form separate regions, and the language of each page is declared for screen readers. Images that carry information have alternative texts, decorative ones are marked as such.

Text and background colours are combined to reach a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for body copy, links and buttons. Because sizes are given in relative units, zooming or increasing the browser font size does not disturb the layout. The website can be operated with a keyboard alone.

Standards

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The site is currently partially conformant: most content meets the guidelines, while the points listed below do not yet. Where a requirement cannot be met right away, we provide the information in another way.

Known limitations

Some pictures are general illustrations and carry a short alternative text rather than a detailed description.

Preparation and review

This statement was prepared on 22 October 2026 on the basis of our own review. We checked the main page types with a keyboard, with increased zoom and with a screen reader; no external audit was commissioned. The statement is reviewed once a year and after any major change to the website.
