Our work
A look at the decks, control rooms and live shows our crew builds and runs from Brighton.
Inside the rooms and decks we run
These scenes show the kit, cabling and screens behind our live work. Each one reflects a stage of how we plan, build and operate a production, from rack layout to the outgoing feed.
Vision mixing across several cameras
A vision mixer cuts between camera, graphics and replay sources on a switcher, following the director's calls and the running order so each change lands on time and the show stays steady.
Compact control room fit-out
We lay out monitor walls, desks and equipment racks so operators can see every source and reach every control, keeping the room quiet, tidy and easy to work in for a full day.
Rack building and cabling
Each rack is wired and labelled before it leaves the workshop, with signal routing mapped on paper. That makes fault-finding quicker on site and handovers clearer for any engineer who follows.
Streaming desk and outgoing feed
For streamed events we encode the programme, route signals and watch the outgoing feed on separate monitors, so any drop in quality is spotted and dealt with before viewers notice.
Portable deck for outside broadcasts
Our portable production decks travel in flight cases and set up quickly in a venue, supplied with a technical crew who run the switching, intercom and monitoring throughout the day.
Operator training in the studio
Trainees practise cutting, timing and talkback on a live switcher with a coach beside them, building the calm habits that keep an in-house team steady when a show goes to air.
